You Reap What You Sow.
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”
If you believe in KARMA
“Everything that you do has repercussions. It comes back to you one way or another.
You cannot escape the consequences of your actions. What you do comes back to you.
You will see the long-term effects of your actions.”
“The total effect of a person's actions and conduct during the successive phases of the person's existence, regarded as determining the person's destiny, especially, in his next incarnation. What goes around comes around. Your actions all have consequences. Don't ever be fooled into thinking that your actions don't have consequences. Don't think you can get away with bad choices even if you don't seem to get caught. Watch the way you live your life because you reap what you sow.”
We sow in one season, we reap in another.
Last three days me and my wife spent a lot of time watching TV. We followed the entire search operation of the missing chopper, finding the debris, air lifting of the bodies, the homage to the mortal remains in Hyderabad and finally the burial at Idupalapaya. It was really very touching, very moving and very sad.
Dr YSR has made his own mark. Certainly he is a great man. Like any great man, he too had good and bad, friends and foes, admirers and haters. No doubt, he is a role model politician for many. He had his highs and lows. Lots of things good and bad are written about him. But, the word which has become synonym for him recently is “Arrogance”
His success in 2009 elections, made him more self assured. Humility at success brings respect and arrogance at success the opposite. No one would appreciate the type of cheap remarks he made about his arch rival in the assembly.
Mohan Guruswamy in his article in Hard News writes “In the ten years since Raja Reddy( YSR’s father) was killed, the TDP puts its losses at nearly 530 killed and the Congress at about 70.The legend of the Tiger of Cuddapah has its moorings in these bloody clan wars. YSR was indeed a doughty fighter and few dared cross his path.
Another R Akhileshwari writes in Deccan Harald “YSR has often been criticised for not being democratic, especially in his dealings within the party. He systematically eliminated his opponents or cut them to size. When he could not do so, he won them over with positions and appointments. As a result, in the last 12 years, he became the banyan tree under whose shadow no other plant grew. “
